The Role
We are looking for our newest team member to support and manage our much-loved shop in Airlie Beach. This is our second highest-selling store, with a strong community presence and a large volunteer workforce.
This is a truly hands-on role and not an ordinary retail management position. You will be actively working on the shop floor throughout the day, leading by example and supporting day-to-day operations. No two days will be the same.
Our Retail Managers are passionate about sustainable fashion, retail excellence and providing a unique shopping experience. You will oversee all aspects of retail operations, including stock ordering, processing donated goods, merchandising, and managing a large volunteer team. You will champion safe manual handling practices and ensure best-practice stock movement and presentation at all times. With a strong focus on people and community, you understand the importance of personalised customer service and are committed to developing your team, supporting volunteers, and making a positive impact within the local community.

The standard working hours for this role will be Monday to Friday, 8:30am – 4:30pm.
This is a Permanent, Full-time position (38 hours per week), based in Airlie Beach.
What you’ll bring:
- Minimum 3 years in retail management and previous experience leading a team to achieve key targets and operational outcomes
- Demonstrated experience in visual merchandising
- Strong knowledge of retail operations, merchandising, stock control and retail strategy
- An eye for sustainable fashion and repurposing with purpose – ensuring our customers find their next hidden treasure
- A passion for making a difference and supporting our companions to shop in a welcoming environment
- An appreciation for our volunteers and the role they play in supporting our retail operations
- A collaborative leadership style and an understanding that our people are our greatest asset
