Job Description
The role
As Financial Accountant, you will manage financial accounting functions across the St Vincent de Paul Society Queensland (SVdP) and end of month processes. A key function of the position is to perform analysis of variances, as well as review and evaluation of existing internal business processes with the aim of leveraging increased efficiency.
This is a 6-month Full-time contract position (38 hours hours per week) role based inthe State Administration Office in South Brisbane.

Desired Skills and Experience
To be successful in the role, you will meet the following criteria:
Relevant Tertiary or TAFE Qualification or equivalent experience in Finance and Accounting
Understanding of and commitment to the philosophy of the St Vincent de Paul Society Queensland and an ability to work in accordance with policies and procedures to promote the values and mission of the Society
