Job Description
The Role
Reporting to the Asset Manager, you will be responsible for ensuring our housing properties remain safe, compliant and well maintained.
Working closely with contractors and internal stakeholders, you'll coordinate maintenance programs, undertake property inspections, monitor contractor performance and help deliver quality housing outcomes for our tenants.
Please note this role focuses on property assets and maintenance, rather than tenancy management.
There are two Permanent, Full-time position (38 hours per week) based in Ipswich.
Key Responsibilities
Conduct Property Condition Reports (PCRs), routine inspections and property assessments
Coordinate responsive, planned and cyclical maintenance works
Identify maintenance issues and ensure timely repairs
Manage contractor performance, service delivery and compliance
Review maintenance invoices and monitor project costs
Ensure properties comply with legislative, WHS and social housing requirements
Maintain accurate property information within the property management system
Provide reporting and recommendations to support asset planning and continuous improvement
Desired Skills and Experience
About You
You'll be someone who enjoys being out in the field, has strong attention to detail and takes pride in maintaining quality property assets.
To be successful, you will have:
Experience in property maintenance, facilities management or housing asset management
Experience conducting property inspections and preparing condition reports
Strong contractor management and stakeholder engagement skills
Knowledge of maintenance compliance and WHS requirements
Excellent organisational and problem-solving skills
Strong computer skills, including Microsoft Office and property management systems
Current C Class Driver Licence
Desirable
Experience within social or community housing
Knowledge of the National Regulatory System for Community Housing (NRSCH)
Trade, facilities or property management qualifications
