Job Description
The Role
At Vinnies Queensland, our Delivery Drivers play an important role in supporting our retail stores and local communities. This is a hands-on position that combines local truck driving with warehouse and distribution centre operations.
You'll be responsible for collecting and delivering donated goods. When you're not on the road, you'll work alongside our warehouse team to ensure stock is processed and distributed efficiently.
We offer a great work-life balance with a set Monday to Friday roster from 7:00am to 3:00pm. All driving is local, with no long-haul or overnight travel required.
Key Responsibilities
Safely operate an MR truck to collect and deliver donated goods
Load and unload stock, including furniture and bulky items
Pick, prepare and organise orders for Vinnies retail stores
Assist with receiving, sorting and processing donated goods
Support stock control and inventory management activities
Work closely with the Distribution Centre Supervisor and warehouse team
Assist with general warehouse duties and housekeeping
Dispose of unsuitable donations and waste in accordance with procedures
Follow all workplace health and safety requirements
Desired Skills and Experience

You are a reliable and team-oriented individual who enjoys variety in your day. You're equally comfortable behind the wheel and working in a busy warehouse environment.
To be successful, you'll bring:
Current MR Driver Licence (Mandatory)
Current Forklift Licence (Mandatory)
Previous truck driving, delivery driving or logistics experience
Experience in warehousing, distribution, furniture removals or stock handling (desirable)
Strong commitment to workplace safety
Ability to undertake manual handling and physically active work
Good communication and customer service skills
A positive attitude and willingness to support the wider team
