Job Description
The Role
Working within a fast-paced call centre environment, the Client Liaison Officer provides high-quality administrative and customer service support to the Home Maintenance and Modification Program (HMMP). The HMMP is a government funded Commonwealth Home Support Program (CHSP) that provides home help to elderly people who need assistance with home maintenance and modifications to live independently at home, preventing inappropriate or premature admission to residential care.
This role is responsible for managing client and stakeholder enquiries, coordinating service jobs, supporting contractors and maintaining accurate program records to ensure services are delivered efficiently and to provide a positive client experience. The program's objective is to empower and enable our clients to participate actively in everyday life whilst maintaining their independence and remaining in their own homes.
This is a Permanent, Full-Time position (38 hours per week) based in South Brisbane.
Desired Skills and Experience
What you'll bring
Must-Haves:
Previous experience in administration, customer service, contact centre or coordination-based roles within aged care, community services, disability, health or not-for-profit sectors
Experience in a high-volume, phone-based client-facing environment
Strong organisational and time management skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks
Confident computer skills, including MS Office and data entry systems
Strong communication skills and a professional phone manner
Empathetic, patient and respectful approach when supporting elderly and vulnerable clients
Nice to Have:
Knowledge of My Aged Care or Commonwealth Home Support Program (CHSP) services
Relevant qualifications in administration, customer service or community services
